7. Google User Data (Calendar Sync)

Branmart offers an optional calendar sync. It is inactive unless you explicitly connect a Google account, and you can disconnect it at any time. This section describes exactly what that connection does.

What we request. A single permission, .../auth/calendar.events, covering events on the calendar you choose. We do not request access to your contacts, email, files, or any other Google service.

How we use it. Only two things: to create, update and remove calendar events that mirror your Branmart bookings, and to read the times you are already busy so that Branmart does not offer those times to your customers.

What we store. Access and refresh tokens for the connection; and, for each event we read, its Google event identifier, its start and end time, and its title. We also store an identifier linking a Branmart booking to the calendar event we created for it. We do not store guests or attendees, event descriptions, attachments, or anything from a calendar you have not connected. Bookings you create in Branmart are sent to Google carrying their own booking details, such as the service and the customer name.

What we never do. We do not sell this data, transfer it to third parties, use it for advertising, or use it to develop, improve or train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models. People at Branmart do not read it, except where needed to resolve a support issue you have raised or where required by law.

Retention and deletion. An event deleted from your Google Calendar is removed from our records on the next sync. Disconnecting the integration deletes the stored tokens and the synced calendar data held for it. You can also revoke access at any time from your Google account permissions page.

Branmart's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Third-Party Links

Branmart may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these sites.

9. Children's Privacy

Branmart is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always posted on our website with an updated effective date.
